At the age of seven I started my first business venture, harvesting fruit and selling it at the market. I knew then that with a bit of motivation and tenacity, I could be a successful entrepreneur—I just had to find my niche. Fast forward to August, 2013, when I established my professional, licensed, bonded, and insured cleaning/organization company: Kikay’s Cleaning Services LLC. I had found my niche!
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and spent the next fifteen years working at all levels of customer service in the hospitality industry. From management to front desk to housekeeping to catering, I excelled with upscale hotel chains including Hilton, Radisson, and Embassy Suites.
Today, I bring my professional enthusiasm and vision directly to you. I welcome all levels of cleaning and organizational projects. Whether you need ongoing or one-time services for your apartment, house, or company, I look forward to making your space shine and exceeding your expectations. I will clean for you so you may have your life back!

The word Alima is derived from the Sufi word Al Alim, which means that “divine wisdom encompasses even the smallest things.” And this toxin-free cosmetic company truly embodies that ideal. With a goal of “supporting the whole health of mind, body, and spirit,” Alima uses only the highest quality and purest mineral pigments available.
Unlike some of the their larger competitors, Alima Pure actually promotes the idea of customer input and interest in the ingredients and processes that mean so much to them. Using a sustainable model of production, the collective ownership of Alima Pure refines all-natural minerals into an effective, vibrant product line that is free of common parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petroleum derivatives, talc, nanoparticles, or any substance harmful to humans, animals, or the environment.
Family owned and operated since 1962, this premier car wash has a gift shop and market for waiting customers. A landmark in the area for years, Beaverton Car Wash and Simoniz Detail Center is open seven days a week, has three full-service vacuum lines and carpet cleaning kiosks where their “customer delight” team details your interiors and towel-dries exteriors still wet from washing cycles. And yes, Beaverton Car Wash has an eco-friendly wash tunnel using the latest in sustainable wash and rinse technologies for a thorough and efficient service. In addition, their detailing packages include exterior polish options, waxing, and comprehensive engine cleaning specifications for whatever your model entails.
Another five-star service on Yelp and Yahoo Local, Josh Burgess is also rated maximum stars on Zillow for “local knowledge,” “professional experience," “responsiveness,” and “negotiation skills” from every reviewer listed. A graduate of the University of Oregon who continues his education to this day, Burgess has over a dozen years of broker experience with an eclectic history of property types both bought and sold, and he remains more dedicated to his job than ever, keeping on top of the ever-changing residential market with an expansive list of local connections and clientele.
One of my favorite bakery in the Portland area, located within walking distance to Fubon market, the largest Asian market in the state. Mei Sum not only has traditional Asian pastries for extremely low prices, but makes cakes to-order for any occasion. The list of Mei Sum favorites is so long that I have no idea where to begin. Each time I return I seem to leave with a larger bag of fresh-baked goods, some of which are even given as complimentary extras. If you want a good steamed bun or feel a sweet tooth coming on, this destination in the jade district is well worth the drive.
Premier Indian food with Middle-Eastern influences, this popular destination on Southeast Hawthorne is an affordable restaurant with high-end quality. Family-owned and -operated, Bombay Cricket Club has been a local favorite since 1995, when owners Karim and Sherri Ahmad started the business after years of work in the local restaurant industry. With house favorites like the mango margarita, lamb shahi, oven-roasted lamb, and chicken tikka masala, this place has become my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. Master Chef and owner Karim has perfected the art of Indian food and remains on the premises almost every night to ensure quality of both product and customer service. If you want more praise for Bombay Cricket Club, simply read their reviews.
The Dump Truck is a downtown food cart only a few blocks from Powell’s City of Books. Making hand-rolled dim sum-style steamed dumplings with a variety of unique and innovative sauces, this local business thrives on word-of-mouth endorsements. A cheap eat in the heart of the city, this truck of dumplings is famous for their fusion-inspired bacon cheeseburger dumplings. If that’s too much for you, there’s always the vegan option, the potato curry dumpling, or the pork, ginger, and scallion dumpling with vegan coconut yogurt.
Another family-owned restaurant, this one a Lebanese and Middle-Eastern favorite, has been full to the door with waiting lists since introducing ethnic fare to their struggling pizza and calzone business back in 1986. Today, they still reside at their original Grand Street address, but have expended with both Gresham and NE Broadway locations.
Reasonably priced for top-notch cuisine, Nicholas specializes in Lebanese and Middle-Eastern home-cooking traditions that are often overlooked by other restaurants in the business. In recent years Nicholas has been in such demand that it has included a catering service to offer large-scale meals for special events.
Staying with a theme of sustainability, Metro Paint uses surprisingly cheap and earth-friendly paints that are more than recycled; they are remade from previously unwanted, discarded, and left-over paints that are then screened for quality, re-blended, and enhanced for strict color-matching and in-door/out-door distinctions. To date, Metro Paint has reconstituted over two million gallons in old latex paints. Not only do these practices reduce the use of landfills, but they decrease carbon emissions, conserve water, and prevent pollution on a large scale considering the many effects of raw mineral extraction and strip mining throughout the world. Did I mention these paints are inexpensive?
